ITINERARY

Day 1: Saigon – My Tho – Can Tho (L)

• The tour begins at 8:00 am with a pick-up from your location for the Mekong Delta 3 days 2 nights trip. After approximately 2 hours of driving from Saigon, we will reach My Tho city, known for its beautiful Vietnamese women, lush orchard gardens, and the enchanting "Đờn ca tài tử" folk music – a UNESCO-recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
• We'll start with a leisurely cruise on the Tien river, visiting 4 islets, each represented by a mythical animal from Southeast Asian folklore: Dragon, Kirin, Tortoise, and Phoenix. At Kirin islet, you'll savor freshly made coconut candy, explore a honey bee farm, taste seasonal tropical fruits in the orchard garden, and experience the soulful folk music cherished by the locals.
• Next, we'll take a peaceful rowing boat ride through a mangrove palm canal and continue with a horse-drawn carriage tour, reminiscent of village life in the 19th century. Afterward, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch featuring specialties of Mekong Delta cuisine at a picturesque riverside restaurant.
• We'll then cruise back to the mainland and head straight to Can Tho city, known not only as the rice kingdom but also as the largest city in the Mekong Delta. After dinner at the hotel, you can explore the vibrant night city.

Day 2: Cai Rang Floating Market (Can Tho) – Tra Su Cajeput Forest (Chau Doc) (B / L)

• You have two options for meeting the guide, either at 5 am or 7 am. If you choose 5 am, you can have breakfast after returning from the floating market. For the best experience, Cai Rang Floating Market comes alive around 6 am, with the most vibrant scenes occurring 1 to 3 weeks before the Lunar New Year.
• Cruise along the Hau river from Ninh Kieu wharf, where you can enjoy tropical fruits, drinks, and "hu tieu" (rice noodle soup) for a light breakfast. After that, you'll visit a chewy noodle workshop to learn about other types of Vietnamese noodles, including the unique noodles pizza found only in this town. A relaxing walk in a large ecological orchard garden to taste fresh fruits follows.
• Then, we'll head to An Giang province, known as the fermented fish kingdom and home to the Cham people. There, you can relax at a crocodile farm and try some specialty crocodile dishes. The highlight of the day is a memorable boat trip in the Tra Su cajeput forest, a haven for nature lovers and researchers, with its diverse flora and fauna, including 70 bird species.
• After checking in at a hotel in Chau Doc town, our tour guide will take you to the spiritual site at the foot of Sam mountain, rich with interesting myths and history.

Day 3: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh (Cambodia) or Phu Quoc Island or Saigon (B / L)

• After breakfast at 6 am, you'll visit a local fish farm and a traditional handicraft workshop in a Cham village. The Mekong Delta 3 days 2 nights tour offers three options for you to choose from:

1. Travel to Cambodia: The tour concludes by sending you off at the speedboat gate for your transfer to Phnom Penh.

2. Travel to Phu Quoc Island (Kien Giang province): The tour finishes by sending you off at Ha Tien wharf for your journey to the island. The tour guide will assist you in transferring to Phnom Penh.

3. Return to Saigon: The tour concludes with a 6-hour road trip back to Saigon. You'll have lunch at a local restaurant before arriving in the city.
